Site management viewer

Site is a collection of projects and layers organized by creation date. All projects are displayed with snapshots in the same viewer. The point cloud snapshot is a lightweight, filtered point cloud that represents the project and is created automatically. Click "Site" icon to check existing ones.

Create a New site

From the "New / New site" button in the Collage Web interface, you can generate a new site, and from the site page, you can view existing ones.

The user needs to enter basic data provided by the interface:

• 1. Name (required).
• 2. Description.
• 3. Reference coordinate system.
• 4. Geoid.
• 5. Snapshot type (required) filter by Ground Surface or 3D Objects. The default is set to Ground Surface.
• 6. Ground sample distance (required) specify a grid separation interval for the surface. The default is set to 0.50.

Panel layout

The Site Viewer area is organized in panels as in project page to display and work with the data:

• 1. Left panel. show the project used in the site grouped by date.
• 2. Data views. This central space can contain one or two views, which can be the 3D View, the Map View.
• 3. Right panel. It contains the Tools options area at the top, and the Properties area at the bottom.

The left and right panels can be resized by dragging their borders, and collapsed by clicking the side buttons:

In the left panel, the three-dot site menu next to the site name offers commands to manage the content of the site.

Go to site detail view

This page lists child projects of the current site with its name, created date, and checkbox to select a specific or all projects to delete.

In the top of the page we found the essential information of the site, as the name, date of creation and the name of the user who create the site. the filters below allow the user to search the project by name or filter by type, and sort the projects listed by different way or just show current user projects.

Continuously the user can go back to site viewer, refresh the list of projects or add project in different ways .

Add project from site detail view

By clicking "Add project" button will appear a contextual menu with 3 options

• New scan project. The user will create a new empty scan project and from project page can modify add data.



• New project from zip. This option will open a wizard with steps to upload the project .



• Existing project. Will open select existing project menu, with filters to help the user to find the project easily and selecting a single project to be added to the site.

Project tree

Left panel principally shows the projects in the site, grouped by date of creation.

The user can:

• Filter the list of projects by name, using the input field.
• Change the visibility by clicking on a checkbox next to date of the project and/or checkbox of the project directly. These checkbox and buttons become visible when the date of project or snapshot is selected.



• Access the command bar at the bottom of the panel to do more operations:

  

  1. Add project
  2. Delete selected project
  3. Edit site settings
  4. Open as project
  5. Zoom to project

Site Map view

This view allows the user to visualize the location of all sites on the map.

Site are shown as pins at the proper location on the map, this location is calculated automatically as the center of all child projects of the site.

Note:The sites without CRS don't appear in this view.

To enter this view click on the button "Go to site map view".

Navigation in the Map

• Pan with the mouse (any button).
• Zoom with the mouse wheel or zoom level control (+/-) on the Map.

Note:The user can filter sites by name on the map.
